MEET DAVID DAFFRON

My wife and I have spent nearly our entire lives in or around District 24. My parents moved to what is now District 24 in the late 1960s, and I attended Collet Park Elementary School. Although we moved after a few years, we remained in the district. I have lived in the same house in District 24 for the past 35 years.

My wife, Sandra, has a similar story. She attended Comanche Elementary School, Madison Middle School, and Sandia High School. As an adult, she returned to Madison, where she taught math and science for many years and was actively involved in the science fair and Science Olympiad. A generation of young ladies also know her as “Miss Sandy,” an instructor at Alwins School of Dance. Sandra holds a Master’s degree in Education.

I hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA). I spent my career working in private business eventually advancing to the role of controller and CFO of several companies. In addition to general management positions, I have served as vice president and corporate board member. Most recently, I have consulted as a part-time or interim CFO.

I am a life member of the NRA and a strong advocate for our Second Amendment rights.

We have three adult children, all of whom have college degrees and are happily married.
